good views but lacking essential amenities

I appreciated the fine sea view from my Beautiful Room with a beautiful backdrop for our stay. The large pool area felt spacious and private, perfect for a family with children. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, ensuring everyone in the family found something to enjoy.

The hotel reminded me of it needed some polishing in terms of furnishings and room amenities.

I liked : The location right on the beach, The size and comfort of the Deluxe room (ground floor with grass courtyard) Very friendly staff The design and decor - simple yet elegant enough a constant sea breeze relaxing, relaxing, relaxing.

It apparently depends on the season, but when we were there (May and July) the sea was a little rough, and not too inviting for a swim.

Property was extremely convenient and modern, I really enjoyed the stay.

i ate at an excellent restaurant with excellent food. the ocean view was a nice bonus. its incredible, central location was a plus.

Fine sea views from my superior room with direct pool access! The spa treatments were fantastic, and the dining options were a real treat, especially the spicy crabs.

The hotel was located very close to the restaurant in the evening as well as did n't have a lot of people into so huge plus point. Venue's room was beautifully maintained with a marvellous view of the beach. The hotel had a central setting to the local fish market fascinating...

Deserted beach, many sunbeds in the shade. For 1-2 days relaxing before the return flight it is okay.

Lots of crows in and around the hotel ("Jetwing Crow" would be the better name). The staff has obviously capitulated in the fight against the crows, and the airport transfer offered is absurdly overpriced (26 USD). It is better to organize yourself and ride the TukTuk (800-900 Rupees). Air conditioning centrally controlled and temperature not adjustable.

Cleanliness of the facilities could be improved. The attentive staff was good, and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, yet the pools had some maintenance issues that detracted from our overall experience.

The rooms are really nice. And great location near the airport. We particularly liked the open entrance area of the hotel.

Unfortunately somewhat expensive in comparison to similar accommodations. Unfortunately, the sea is polluted at this point.

There was the wonderful breakfast, really enjoyed the location.

I had great-sized, brand-new room complete with a large bathroom and fabulous bath. The location was central, fantastic on the sea shore with the kid. I tried some drinks at brew pub Toro Pub & Restaurant, located 5 minutes walk away.

Loved the spacious Beautiful Room with Sea View, relaxing beach terrace, and the vibrant pool scenes.

Registration process was horrible, no advance notice of requests that couldn't be met, incompetent staff without limited flexibility and will to make up for their mistakes. Scores very low on value for money. Dominated by package tour guests from the middle east.

The beach and the room are fantastic. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the bathroom was very luxurious.

The staff is not interested in the bean and you have to ask or request everything three times. A bottle of water was brought to the room only after three questions and 90 minutes. The WLAN is very bad in the whole hotel.

Just a nice choice for a whistle-stop in Negombo with good value. The chess board by the pool was a fun, unexpected touch, made our evenings more enjoyable. Check the pool availability to avoid crowds during the day.

I did not like any things in that hotel it is a vast of money and time I feel like I am staying in jail.rooms have no facility, there is fridge that is locked. there is no number to call inside the hotel, I have paid more than a five star rate to that hotel. very close to that hotel, I went there for my food and drinks, there the hotel room is only 6000 sri lankan rupees here I paid, 248 USD + Taxes for nothing.

I travelled almost all major cities in the world, and stayed most of the best 5 star hotels, this hotel I have seen lot of restrictions, 1. You can not call your frien(male) in your room, which I have not seen anywhere in the world. I came alone to Sri Lanka, I want to sit with my friends hotel people did not allow me to do that. several times I staid in galdari and hilton, it is feel like my home. This expreience I never forget in my life.

We spent great vacation in a hotel with a very professional and friendly personnel and great restaurants with delicious seafood.
